- Is my data safe?
- We work on the assumption that everything on the drive matters. If a repair carries any risk to your data we say so before starting, and recovering the files is a separate job we can quote alongside the repair.
- My Mac is out of warranty — is it worth fixing?
- Often, yes. Batteries, drives, fans, screens and ports are all replaceable long after the warranty is gone, and a machine that is otherwise fine does not deserve to be scrapped for one failed part. We tell you honestly when it is not worth it.
- Can you fix liquid damage?
- Frequently. Success depends on what was spilled, where it reached and how quickly it was powered off. Board-level corrosion is fine soldering work — delicate, but not hopeless, and we will tell you what we find before committing you to anything.
- How long does it take?
- Most repairs are a day or two. The wait is almost always a part rather than the labour, and Apple parts are more likely to need ordering in than PC ones.
- Do you work on older Macs?
- Yes. We regularly service machines Apple no longer supports, including upgrades that make an older Mac usable again rather than replacing it.

- Tell us the model and the fault first. Call or WhatsApp — we will tell you whether it is worth couriering before you spend anything on shipping.
- Send it tracked and insured. A MacBook is worth insuring in transit, and the cost is small next to the machine.
- Back it up if it still boots. We tell you before doing anything that risks your data, but your own backup is always the safer position.
- Remove Activation Lock if you can. Sign out of Find My, or have your Apple ID to hand — a locked machine limits what we can test after a repair.
- We quote before we start, exactly as we would if you had carried it in, and courier it back when it is done.
