These terms apply to every device booked in for repair, diagnostics, or assessment at our Ramsgate workshop, on a callout, or by mail-in.
While Unlimited IT Solutions exercises the utmost care with all equipment and data, devices are booked in at the customer's own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unlimited IT Solutions, its management, and employees shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, theft, or loss of data pertaining to the booked-in item(s). This limitation applies in accordance with Section 49 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
Any equipment not collected within three (3) months (90 days) from the date of the first notification that the job has been completed (or deemed unrepairable) will be forfeited to Unlimited IT Solutions. The forfeited equipment will be sold, dismantled, or recycled to defray repair, diagnostic, and storage costs. This is enforced in accordance with the common law right of a repairer's lien and aligns with the CPA regarding abandoned goods and the recovery of service costs.
By booking in your equipment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Please ensure all critical data is backed up prior to handing over your device.
